The Green Bay Packers selected Jeff Query in the fifth round of the 1989 NFL Draft. He played six seasons in the NFL for Packers, Cincinnati Bengals, and Washington Redskins. Query also returned punts while playing for the Packers, and was awarded the title of the NFL's Fastest Man in both 1989 and 1990 seasons.

In his MLB career, Reimer played in 488 games, had 376 hits, 52 home runs, and a .258 batting average.
